Does anybody know how to make rfind (PF6) active ?
I am getting this error when I try to repeat find in SDFS logs. STC02116 DSID 124 LIN "RFIND " is not active. I tried looking in manual etc but could not get any clue to resolve this. Thanks in advance. |

I don't think SDSF supports RFIND.
The following web site (in its SDSF section) discusses the limitations of SDSF and makes some recommendations; http://www.davar.net/MF/REFER/FAQ.HTM |

SDSF uses IFIND rather than RFIND.

I found this in z/OS 1.10 SDSF, but a search for IFIND in z/OS 1.10 ISPF did not produce any hits. I've always used PF5 (my ISPF RFIND key) in SDSF with no trouble

Quote:
SDSF runs under a unique Application ID so the PFkey definitions are separate from ISPF. Enter KEYS when in SDSF to verify the value for PF5.
